Local Caravan installation for capturing lab, radiology, and other equipments output for transmission from the local Caravan to VETport on the cloud.
1) Clinic must send PC credentials and Teamview Host credentials to support@vetport.com. PC login must provide Administrator credentials for installation.
2) Teamview to the clinic needing installation or update.
3) Open a browser and download http://kdv.vetport.com:9010/vetport_equipments.zip
4) Unzip the vetport_equipments to the C: drive. If a zip facility or zip software is not present on the PC install 7-Zip from http://www.7-zip.org/
5) Place "Shortcut to StartVetport" in the Startup folder.
In Windows 10 click on the Magnify Glass icon next to the Windows Menu Icon and type run > click on the Run Desktop App > type shell:startup and click return.
Use the above method in previous version of by clicking on the Start menu then the Run icon OR in most older versions of the Windows the Startup folder can be found in Start >> All Programs >> Right Mouse Click on the "Startup" folder to open it.
1) SIO is not required for Idexx, Heska, and Radiology equipments. Edit as follows then Save.

2) If SIO is required do not edit StartVetport.bat. SIO is required for all Abaxis equipments. For installation instruction for SIO see:
1) In the Vetport_equipments folder double click on "Shortcut to StartVetport".
1) If there is and existing sample equipment click Modify to use it for the first equipment assignment for this clinic.
2) Click Add for additional equipments.
1) Select the equipment type / Analyzer.
Point Caravan to VETport on the Cloud:
2) Clinic IP Address is the subdomain.vetport.com e.g. bakerhousevets.vetport.com
3) Obtain the VETport Cloud clinic Target Port Number from Webmin
4) Fill in the LOCAL Folder Path that Caravan will digest the equipments output from. The LOCAL folder path is where the analyser software stores report files captured from analyzers or radiography equipments. For lab equipments give c:\vetport_equipments\data\(equipment name) e.g c:\vetport_equipments\data\hm5. Create folders "data" and "hm5" before you save the configuration. Do this for all the equipments. For Radiography equipments give the path where you have saved the images and text files.
5) Click Modify or Add.
