Legacy - Scheduling an appointment for a Service

VETport has tremendous scheduling flexibility which can solve the most difficult requirements for a Veterinarian. In this example we step through the concept of service versus clinician. VETport allows for a service to be scheduled with one or more veterinarians as well a space(eg surgical tables) and equipments.even you can create appointment for unscheduled doctor .

We need to define Surgery Services as User under the Provider

The doctor category is flagged to display in the calendar. The off and on times can be defined in the user setup for "Surgery Services"

Now when an appointment is being made for surgery services the doctor available will list in the make appoint screen.

Creation of services in user .Go Setting and Reports->Settings->Personnel - Access Rights & their Scheduling

1.Select staff category first

2. For Display as A Provide

Here you can define schedule

Here you will be able to select the once services is created .doctors who are available and who will be need for the surgery

1) Choose your appointment Type - a clinic can set the default to its most common appointment type.

2) Start typing the text of the complaint eg "neu" and choose the desired complaint.

3) All complaint can have a standard amount of time scheduled against them. In this example the clinic operates in 10 minute blocks and this procedure is assigned to take 10 minutes against the plan item.

4) The email details of the appointment are sent immediately and then 24 hours prior - both automatic.

5) Create the Appointment!
